PSYCHOTHERAPIST RP, RP(Q), SOCIAL WORKERS

Our clients are looking for both virtual & in-person Psychotherapy services in a variety of languages. We are looking for Psychotherapists with interests and experience in the fields of trauma, relationship conflict, domestic violence, intimate partner violence, depression, anxiety, among others. We work with all age groups.

Our particular interests (one or more would be ideal):

• Able to work with children/parents and attachment therapy undergoing divorce/separation.
• Able to work with divorce/separation case studies where one partner is violent, threatening, emotionally, psychologically and/or sexually abusive, coercive or exploitative.
• Able to work with individuals from the city’s victim services unit (i.e., domestic violence, intimate partner violence).
• Able to work with front-line workers.
• Able to work with high-conflict couples.

Requirements:

• Registration is in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) or another college/regulatory body that governs psychotherapy practice in Ontario.
• Proof of Professional Liability Insurance ($3million-$5million).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and excellent organizational abilities
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in computer software (e.g. MS Word, G Suite, Janeapp) is an asset.
• Bilingual is an asset.

HOURS

Providing direct client care for up to 10 hours each week. Office hours are available for in-person meetings with clients. The location is Downtown Ottawa.

Monday to Saturday.

Blocks of Half-days, full days.

RATE OF PAY

Subcontract position. Must have their business insurance in place. All CRPO requirements must be met, and registration must be up-to-date.

$100/hour.

All systems are in place for faster processing of admin work by Soteldo Psychotherapy Clinic.

If you are passionate about supporting individuals on their journey towards healing and are committed to offering sliding scale options to make therapy more accessible, we want to hear from you.

We operate as an independent contractor model which means the following:

– We cannot guarantee a set amount of clients/hours.

– You will have the opportunity to grow your caseload at your own pace, according to your preferences, and client’s needs.

– We don’t take any deductions off your pay and you are responsible for tax submission and any associated deductions.
